A most perilous summoning

The moon entered void of course
Strange events will surely manifest
A circle in the sand

Odd glyphs
Traced around him
He gazed
Into the obsidian mirror

THOU FOOL

Emptiness overcame him
Staring in to the void
Showing no respect for the divinity
In his operation
Ignorant to the forces evoked

The spirit appeared like the summer sun
In the darkness of night
His ruby eyes piercing
Through cosmic starlight
The mage was cast
into days of chaos and blight

Life's fate, a wheel of fortune
Typhon came to collect his due
The sun wheel had turned to a fixed degree
For one who could not control their destiny
